The History of AmS Amplifiers

Let me introduce myself, my name is Benjamin Genot, electronic engineer and musician, I am the founder of the company AmS Amplifiers.

 

It all started in 2011. Following several years of experience in the audiovisual field, I had the idea to build an amplifier prototype that perfectly suited my needs. The research and development process were long and faced many challenges but ultimately resulted in a fantastic first machine: the Custom Overdrive 35. Since then, AmS Amplifiers, always attentive to the musicians needs and the amplification market, has continued to grow, reinvent itself,  create and develop new models. AmS goal is a relentless pursuit of perfection.

Today, the AmS team is proud to showcase its expertise through 9 different series and one pedal. We don't plan to stop here ! All our amplifiers are 100% handcrafted, prioritizing short supply chains whenever possible. From drilling the raw aluminum chassis to wiring and soldering the meticulously selected components, nothing is left to chance.
